Natural slopes and landslides – CIRIA guidance

If you missed the launch webinar for CIRIA guidance Natural slopes and landslides – condition, assessment, and mitigation (C810) earlier this year, join this pre-recorded webinar to discover how it can be used to manage the risks of slope failure in a changing climate.

Background
Natural slopes are a dynamic feature of the landscape that evolve over time due to the processes acting upon them and because their properties may change over relatively short timescales (eg tens of years). Understanding the condition of natural slopes and the main processes that change the condition and lead to deterioration are essential to mitigating the hazards of slope movement, which may ultimately affect infrastructure located next to them.

This pre-recorded webinar will provide an overview of CIRIA’s guidance Natural slopes and landslides – condition, assessment, and mitigation (C810) and feature case studies supporting good practice. This guidance document has been prepared as a companion to Infrastructure cuttings – condition appraisal and remedial treatment (C591) and Infrastructure embankments – condition appraisal and remedial treatment. 2nd edition (C592).

Special offer
All attendees will qualify for a 20% discount off Natural slopes and landslides – condition, assessment, and mitigation (C810) for a limited period. The promotional code will be communicated with the joining instructions pre-event.
